Leaks & high usage:


Whereas it is not the responsibility of SVWC to notify you that we suspect you have a leak we do try to make every effort to do so. It is in everyone's best interest to fix leaks! Our billing software informs us when there are significant increases or decreases in use. However, we don't know if the increase was because the house has been vacate for several months during the off season and now fully occupied or that you had every relative you know staying with you for a big family reunion. Every billing cycle there are hundreds of accounts that show unusual usage. It would be impossible to follow-up on all these high use instances. SVWC's policy is that you are responsible for watching your own bills. If you suspect there is a leak, notify us immediately and we will send staff to check it out.
