In the water world there are two types of leaks. One is a system leak. This is where water is leaking from some part of the water company's system. The other is a leak that occurs past the water meter to your home. Under Oregon law SVWC owns up to and including the meter at your location. Any leak that occurs past the meter becomes your responsibility to correct. Due to insurance requirements and Oregon law that dictates only licensed plumbers can perform such work SVWC staff will not be able to assist you with "past the meter" leaks.
